Queen Bee is an optional pre-Hardmode Jungle boss. She is not required for the main progression path, but the fight can provide useful rewards and defeating her allows the Witch Doctor to move into an available house.
Why fight Queen Bee?

- Unlock the Witch Doctor as a town NPC.
- Test your Jungle mobility and arena preparation before later bosses.
- Add useful pre-Hardmode options before the Wall of Flesh transition.
Arena preparation
The Underground Jungle can be cramped, so clearing enough room to move vertically and horizontally makes the encounter easier to read. Platforms can help create safer movement lanes without completely flattening the area.
Fight pattern
Expect repeated charges, movement across the arena and summoned bees. Keep enough room to change direction quickly, and avoid standing still while waiting for a perfect damage window.
When to fight her
Queen Bee is flexible because she is optional. Fight her when the Jungle rewards or Witch Doctor unlock are useful to your current plan, not because you think every world must follow one rigid boss order.
