Choose cyberware around the combat loop you actually use. A Netrunner, Bullet-Time Ninja and Solo setup want different operating systems, defenses and utility.

Capacity is a budget
Do not fill slots only because an item is available. Treat capacity like a build budget and spend it on effects that reinforce the main playstyle or solve a specific weakness.
Cyberware and perks belong together
Perks, attributes, weapons and cyberware should point in the same direction. If your cyberware pushes fast melee but your perks support long-range gunplay, the build is fighting itself.
Upgrade in stages
Prioritize the systems that make the build function first, then add quality-of-life or secondary bonuses after the core loop is stable.
